The Mission Of The Child Protection Services Agency

According to the National Association of Public Child Welfare Administrators, the mission of the child protection services agency is to assess the safety of children, intervene to protect children from harm, strengthen the ability of families to protect their children, and to provide a reunification or an alternative safe family for child (Home - Child Welfare Information Gateway, n.d.). The purpose of a case plan is an arrangement or ground plan that a child protection services professionals’ uses with a family as a road map for a rewarding mediation. Case plans are used for the summary of the findings and consequences, it seeks out acknowledgment of individuals concerning discernment and feelings. Case plans also includes services that will be offered to clients that they usual don’t know that are available to them (Home - Child Welfare Information Gateway, n.d.). Goals of a case plan is not that the goals should be clear, specific, measurable, and related to key ris k factors developed with the child or children and caregiver. It should be in form of an observable end state, consistent with the child or children particular developmental strengths and needs.
